This duet consists of Olga Shilova & Christina Pitula. It was formed in the beginning of 2004. Duet «Play Girls» do concerts on various scenes in Moscow and have tours in russian cities. Girls will sing an entry in english.
Christina Pitula.Christina is from Noyabr'sk (Tumenskaya region). She worked with musical group «Lunniy svet» (Moonshine), which was famous in her region. She studies in the studio of pop-jass vocal "Garmonija" Christina Pitula became winner of the songest «Polyarnaya Zvezda» (Nothern Star), she participated in contest for young talents "Utrennaja zvezda" Olga Shilova. Olga was born on 29th of June 1982, in small Ural city. Later her parents moved to Sakha-Jakutiya, where entered Musical School for the 1st time. In 1991 she moved to Noviy Urengoy.
Olga entered music school in a new city. But she never though about musical career that days, she wanted to become veterinary surgeon.In 1995 she finished musical school. And in 4 months she entered vocal studio. Then she won contest «Raduga» in her home city. In 1997 she participated in another contest «Polyarnaya zvezda» (Nothern Star), which jury members were from Musical College by Gnesins in Moscow. Olga won this contest and get a chance to enter this college in Moscow without exams. Being a student, Olga was a member of various groups. In 2000 she graduated this colleged and started to work in studio «L-Records» as a back vocalist. Also she worked on her solo songs. In 2002 she sent her recordings to the selection for "New Wave 2002" contest". She was chosen to represent Russia that year. After the contest she continued her work on a debute album and it was released soon. Then she went to New-York to «SONY» studo to record some demo phonograms. It was future material for duet PlayGirls. Now Olga is 5 form student of The Institute of Modern Art in Moscow. |
