The shooting of this video was held in 2 stages: first day (February 13) was on the Moscow street new building "Alie Parusa", second day (February 15) was spent for shooting in film-studio after Gorkiy. Dima Bilan will sing a song "Not That Simple" (english version of «Ti dolzhna ryadom bit' / You must be by my side"). It was written by foreign composer Michelle Escoffery and will be sung in English on the contest.Dima Bilan was born on 24th of December 1981 in Karachaevo-Cherkessija. Later his family moved from one city to another regurlarly. Being a schoolboy, Dima took part in various amateurish concerts, read poems, sang songs. He liked to perform on the scene of his school hall. Later Dima Bilan entered musical school, where he studied accordion and was a soloist in children's choir. He took part in various contests & regional festivals. After he finished school, he went to Moscow and entered Musical College by Gnesins. Being 3rd year student, he met Yuri Aizenshpis, who became his producer. Dima Bilan debuted in Russian showbiz on the scene of the contest "New Wave 2002" in Jurmala. He got 4th prize. After this festival several songs by Dima appeared in playlists of popular radio stations. He spent a lot of time in studio, recording new songs for his debute album. Many fans of his music appeared. He finished Musical College by Gnesins in 2003 and entered the Theatre Institute (GITIS). In October 2003 his debute album "Ya nochnoy hooligan" (I'm a hooligan in the night) was released. And in october 2004 he presented his 2nd album "Na beregu neba" (On the bank of the heaven). There were some famous names in creators of this album: Shaun Escoffery & Diane Warren, who worked with such stars as Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Ricky Martin & many others. Dima also wrote 2 songs for his 2nd album. Nowadays Dima Bilan studies English very hard - he prepares a base for his future international release, which is said to be very soon. |
