Her real name is Svetlana Ternova. She finished Musical College by Gnesins. Since February 1997 she worked backvocalist with famous russian shanson singer Mikhail Krug. He saw Svetlana on festival "Zavolzhje" and invited her to sing in his group. During intervals between acts in Krug concerts she made her solo mini-performance, singing 3 songs in blues style.Svetlana's voice may be heard on Krug's albums "Roza" (1999) & "Mishka" (2000) (Dear), on the sleeve of "Mishke" there is famous singer Krug with Svetlana. They recorded duo "Davay pogovorim" (Lets talk) together. And song "Koroleva" (Queen) was written specially for Svetlana and this her solo work was later issued on Krug's album. Soon Mikhail Krug became Svetlana's producer and wrote several songs in pop style for her, even her album release was planned, but Mikhail Krug was killed... And her solo album was never released that days. Since 2001 Svetlana regurlarly performed in night club "Metelitsa" in Moscow, her performances is a part of joint show with another singer. For a long period of time, she performed there with Anna Alina (member of A-Sortie). In 2002 in "Metelitsa" musical "Ya" in disco style was presented, Svetlana played Magda. |
