Duet "Be Good" was formed after group "Radio-Rock" was broken down in 1996. Duet consists of 2 musicians Vladimir Gustov and Igor Balakirev. They recorded and released 2 albums, one of which ("All About You" 2000) already featured "Take Me Back To Rio". Vladimir Gustov does arrangements, Igor is responsible for vocals. Vladimir Gustov was born in Leningrad (St Petersburg) on 26th of 26 june 1961. In the middle of 70s he was a member of amateurish ensemble "Studio Kaskad". LAter he finished St Petersburg Music College by Musorgski with a diploma of Jazz guitarist, then he was a teacher in this college for 5 years. He cooperated with young musician Victor Reznickov and worked with Alla Pugacheva, Larisa Dolina, Mikhail Boyarskiy and others. In 1986 he became a member of group "Randevu". And in 1988 he was a founder of group "Radio-Rock." In 1990s Vladimir was a member of russian-american project "SUS". In 1997 he became an owner of his studio, where he record songs of himself and of other artists. Now he is chief and sound producer of well-known russian group of Maxim Leonidov. Igor Balakirev was born in Leningrad (St Petersburg). He finished St Petersburg Musical College "Capella" by Glinka with a diploma of the director of the choir. He worked in various theatres, sang in vocal-jazz group «Digest», had tours as a member of choir «Otkrovenie» in Europe. Later he graduated from the University of Arts with a diploma of vocalist and pianist. Now he writes music for pop singers and theatre performances. He took part in russian show "We Will Rock You". |
