Alexandr Panaiotov (to the right) and Alexei Chumakoff (to the left) - are participants of reality show "Narodniy Artist" (Idols). Their producers - Evgene Fridlyand & Kim Breitburg («FBI-music» company)Panaiotov & Chumakoff sang "Balalaika" in Russian. Their back-vocalists were 4 girls from group "A-Sortie". Alexandr Panaiotov He was born on 1st of July in St Petersburg. When Alexandr was 3 year old, his family moved to Zaporozhje (The Ukraine). In the age of 10 he entered musical school. And when he was 12, he appeared on the proffessional stage for the first time : he sang on the scene of the biggest square in the city. At the age of 15 he started to wrote songs by himself and participated with this compositions in various contests. After he finished school, he entered College of Popular Music in Kiev to study a profession of pop vocalist, but soon he left this College and went to Moscow, where reality show «Stan' Zvezdoy» (2002) took place. He managed to reach the final, but failed to win this tv competition. He came back to Kiev and entered National University of Culture. The same year he organized his own group «Alyans», which became very popular in Kiev & gave many concerts. In 2003 he participated in reality-show «Narodniy Artist» (Idols), where he came 2nd. Well-known producers Evgene Fridlyand & Kim Breitburg offered Alexander a 7-years contract. He visited many cities during music tour of "Narodniy Artist", recorded a lot of new songs, which will be included in his debute album. Panaiotov's awards. In 2000 he won in international contest «Chernomorskie Igri», got 3rd place in «Slavyanskiy Bazaar» (Kiev), won contest «Azovskie Parusa». In 2001 Alexandr won in festival «Zolotoy Shlyager» in Mogilev (Belarus), in «Discavery» - Varna (Bulgaria) and in «More Drusej» Yalta (Ukraine), he came 2nd in contest "Konkurs artistov estradi» (Kiev). In 2002 he became a winner of «Pesni Vilnjusa» (Lithuania). For participation in "Narodniy Artist" he lost his weight (from 116 to 81 kilogramms). He just stopped eating. Alexei Chumakoff Alexei Chumakoff was born in 1981 in Samarkand (Uzbekistan). When he studied at school, he dreamt of music and scene, Alexei liked to sing, he learnt how to play the guitar by himself. He always performed in school shows & concerts. He studied musical school & finished it as a drummer. He appeared on professional scene in 11 years old, that days he composed his 1st song and participated with it in contest «Utrennaya Zvezda». In school he acted the role of the host durgin amateurish performances. In 1995 his family moved to Tumen' (Russia). He entered The College of the Art (in Tumen) to study vocal. But he had to leave this college because of tours, concerts, festivals and various parties. Later he entered again the College of the Art but in Tashkent and graduated from it in 1998. That year Chumakoff won all prizes in the contest «Golosa Evropi» (Voices of Europe). Also he won in the contest «Stupeni» in his home city Tumen, but as a composer. Later he found one businessman, who gave him money, which helped Alexei to record and release his 1st album, to make tour in Ekaterinburg and to film the video. Alexei became really famous after his participation in reality show "Narodniy Artist", where he reached the final and took 3rd place. He moved to Moscow and signed a contract with «FBI-music». |
