Irina sings from her childhood. Now she studies in the Theatre Institute (GITIS) in Moscow. Since autumn 2003 she sang in group «Nepal», which performed in Moscow Night Clubs. That days "Nepal" (incl Irina Shott) released their album. Later one person left this group. And songs with Irina's vocal found their way to "Sony Music", which signed a contract with Irina Shott. And Irina went to London, where she started to work on her debute english album, which is to be released in April 2005 on Sony Music.Songs on this album were written by famous european hitmakers, who cooperated with such pop stars as Jennifer Lopez, Atomic Kitten, Celine Dion and Prince. Most of all tracks from this cd were recorded in London Studio "Rive Droite Music". Song «Identify Yourself», which was Irina's entry in Russian National Final 2005, was composed by Ben «Jammin» Robbins, who wrote songs for Jonathan Cerrada, Precious, «Smash!», Alsou, Tina Arena, Rick Astley, Cliff Richard and by Peter Wright (No Angles, Paul Oakenfold). |
