The song "Ya - eto Ya" ("Me, it's me" or "I am what I am") won Russian national final and should have represented Russia at Eurovision in Oslo. But … that year the additional pre-selection of the participants was carried out, 23 singers should have sung at the final, but the number of the National Final's winners has appeared to be 30. Then 8 members of jury in each country listened to audio of 29 songs (Norway as the last year winner became the participant of Eurovision automatically) and voted in competition style (12,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1).

Russia hasn't gone to Oslo, as has only 26 place in preliminary voting, having received 4 votes from Estonia and 5 from Great Britain. But 9 points are not final result yet, because voting points of some countries are unknown till now. And if you know results of voting of the Russian jury, inform me, please: web@eurosong.net.ru.
