National Final: Swiss final was held on 6th of March, 2004. 12 participants competed in the Swiss Eurosong 04, each four of them sent from the French-speaking, the Italian-speaking and the German-speaking part of the country. Piero Esteriore is one of the four representants for the German-speaking part. He participated in SF DRS' casting show MusicStar, where he came fourth. The voting procedure was divided into the three aforementioned regions. 2 regions gave Piero 2nd place and 1 region gave him the 1st place.
